The TWISTER magnetic stirrer allows for a new way of interacting between user and laboratory instrument. There is an intuitive and chemically resistant LED glass display where all information can be conveyed without any alpha-numeric display. The speed or the power required for the stirring can be displayed e.g. the viscosity changes can be observed and displayed as percentages. The mixing can be started by pressing a button as well as by placing or touching the beaker. This stirrer also includes a reverse function that changes the direction of rotation at definable time intervals. This leads to significant improvements in the mixing result, specifically with difficult to mix samples.

The high protection class IP 66 allows operating under harsh conditions. The magnetic stirrer can be cleaned under the tap or operated in an incubator at temperatures of up to 40°C.
