Molecular Cell Biology

The range of Molecular Biology products by BioConcept that are on offer include Agarose, Biological Buffers and Water for Molecular Biology. The Standard Agarose that is on offer can be used for routine gels, student courses and standard analyses in the lab.

The Biological Buffers on offer are the TBE, TAE and SSC Buffer which all have different uses:

- The TBE Buffer is most commonly used for DNA and RNA polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. It is used with non-denaturing or denaturing gels and routinely used for DNA automated sequencing gel

- The TAE Buffer is used for electrophoresis of nuclei acids in agarose and polyacrylamide gels. This buffer can be used for genomic and large supercoiled DNA as well as a running and gel preparation buffer

- SSC Buffer is used as a hybridization buffer to control stringency for washing steps in protocols for Southern blotting, situ hybridization, DNA Microarray or Northern blotting

Water for Molecular Biology is suitable for use in applications which demand a high quality of water and assurance that the water is free from DNase, RNase and protease contamination. There are no toxic agents like DEPC, used in the manufacturing of Molecular Grate Water.
